What is included in a residential clean?
A standard home clean covers the rooms you use every day. In the time you book, our cleaner works through:
- Kitchen: benchtops, splashback, sink and taps, stovetop, cupboard fronts, and the outside of appliances.
- Bathrooms and toilets: shower, screen, bath, basin, mirror, toilet and floor, cleaned and disinfected.
- Living areas and bedrooms: dusting of surfaces, shelves, skirting boards and light switches, and tidying.
- Floors: vacuuming carpets and rugs, and vacuuming and mopping hard floors throughout.
Want something specific done, like the inside of the fridge, the oven or a pile of ironing? Put it in your booking notes and allow a little extra time.
How much does a home cleaner cost?
Queens Of Cleans charges $55 per cleaner per hour for home cleaning in the Hills District and north-west Sydney. You pick the number of hours when you book, so a 2-hour clean costs $110, a 3-hour clean costs $165 and a 4-hour clean costs $220. If you book two cleaners, each cleaner’s hours are counted, so two cleaners for two hours is $220. The same rate applies to one-off cleans and to weekly, fortnightly and monthly bookings, and the booking form shows the total before you confirm. A small apartment that’s cleaned regularly can often be done in 2 hours. A larger family home, or a first clean after a long gap, usually needs more. If you’re unsure, book a longer first visit and adjust from there. Our cleaners work quickly, so you get more done in each hour you pay for.
Regular cleans or one-off?
Most households book a regular clean, weekly or fortnightly, so the house never gets far from clean. Monthly bookings suit smaller homes or people who keep on top of the daily jobs themselves. One-off cleans are popular before guests arrive, after renovations or parties, and before a property goes on the market.
Who will clean my home?
All Queens Of Cleans cleaners are trained, police-checked and covered by our insurance. Our team has been cleaning Sydney homes for more than 10 years. We use eco-friendly, non-toxic products that are safe around children and pets, and we follow any instructions you leave about surfaces, rooms or pets.

- Pick a date, a morning, midday or early afternoon arrival window, and how often you want us to come.
- Add your details and any access notes. We confirm the booking, and if your time is already taken we contact you with the closest option.
